At Trailblazers LI, we strive to create an environment that nurtures the talents of our basketball players. We are always mindful of how early experiences can form or potentially influence a child’s views and future. For this reason, we hold dear the opportunity and responsibility to be a positive influence to our players.

Our commitment to our members transcends the basketball courts. Our goal is to assist our members in becoming well-rounded scholar athletes. Our commitment includes:

• Supporting academic excellence - We require that our members maintain good academic standing. We will assist in arranging tutoring when necessary and provide incentives when appropriate.
• Providing opportunities - We seek and provide opportunities (tournaments/leagues) that expose our teams to appropriate competition, reinforce fundamental skills, and allow our players to showcase their talents.
• Mentoring (on and off the basketball court) – By providing positive examples through accountability, sportsmanship, teamwork, commitment, time management, and leadership.
• Coaching - Offering basketball training that supports growth, and cultivates and improves the player’s fundamental skills.
